The Enterprise Club is dedicated to empowering students with the entrepreneurial skills they need to start and manage their own businesses. Throughout the school year, students establish and operate their own ventures, gaining hands-on experience in business. They participate in the Student Enterprise Programme, organised by Enterprise Ireland, and compete in the South Cork Finals with the aim of progressing to the the National Finals.
Our students have enjoyed great success in recent years:
2024: Winners of the Junior South Cork Final and Winners of the Best Display. We have been a finalist in the National Finals for the last 5 years.
2023: Winners of the Junior and Intermediate South Cork final. Won Best Innovation Award and 2nd place out of 54 teams in the Senior category at the South Cork final. Students were also crowned winners of the Junior and Intermediate My Entrepreneurial Journey.
2022: The club had a strong showing at the South Cork Finals, winning the Junior, Intermediate, and Senior categories. They also received a Special Merit Award at the National Finals in the Junior category and claimed first place in the My Entrepreneurial Journey competition at both the Junior South Cork Final and the National Finals.
2021: The school had great success winning both the Junior and Intermediate categories at the South Cork Finals.
2020: A successful year for the students as they won the Junior South Cork Finals.
